Shelley Adams lives in Nelson, British Columbia, with her husband Mike and their dog Lucy, the luckiest golden retriever on the planet. Shelley, the bestselling author of the Whitewater Cooks series, is known for her ability to create recipes using everyday, easily sourced ingredients that can be flung together for a weeknight meal or a memorable dinner with friends.

Shelley attended a world-renowned cooking school in Paris and then returned to Vancouver where she thrived as a caterer in the film business. In the late 80s, Shelley and Mike became the owners of the Whitewater Ski Resort where Shelley ran the Fresh Tracks Café, which soon became a destination for foodies. Shelley’s children, Ali and Conner, both share her passion for and love of great food.

Conner Adams lives in Venice Beach, California, with his wife, Sarah, and their perfect cat, Thomas. He loves cooking and creating delicious recipes for Sarah, their lucky friends, and readers of this newest Whitewater Cooks cookbook. When growing up in Nelson, Conner’s love of cooking began through exposure to good food both at home and at the Fresh Tracks Café.
